Wexford Golf Club is a testament to the local community who decided in the early 1960's that Wexford Town needed a golf course. Starting from a modest 52-acre site on which Hamilton Stutt designed a nine-hole golf course, the members of Wexford golf club have continually improved their course and it is now worthy of considerstion for inclusion on a golf holiday itinerary.
Located just outside Wexford town centre on a site that commands impressive views over the town and Wexford harbour, the 18-hole parkland course is an exciting roller-caoster ride with some very interesting holes. The final loop of four holes are particularly memorable and provide an excellent finish.
